I dare you to mention another art program that has a 120 day trial period. It’s super useful and makes drawing digitally a snap. The Hand tool is a godsend! I’m so serious. The touch features work for my Wacom Bamboo Create, unlike when I was using Paint Tool SAI.It does lack some features but it has good photo editing capabilities that almost makes having Photoshop redundant.Especially useful if you’re an artist who makes speed-paints/draw videos. With the Event feature, you can recreate how your drawing came to be from start to finish. It may not be in the same league as Clip Studio Paint, but it definitely stacks up well against the competition. It’s a seperate window which can load up any image you like so you don’t have to minimise the program all the time, or have it side-by-side to see it. Reference window is something I didn’t even know I needed until now.Since the program is similar to Paint Tool SAI, it makes learning to use it less painless than something with a completely unfamilair UI. Simple UI that’s quite easy to understand.I recommend checking my guide to setting up your own personal workspace if needed. It’s pretty customizable too, allowing you to re-arrange the windows however you like. Black theme is easy on the eyes, especially in the dark if you’re a night owl artist. It loads very fast compared to the likes of Photoshop which takes forever. I will be reviewing the Steam version of OpenCanvas 7.I’ll be making comparisons to Clip Studio Paint, Paint Tool SAI and Photoshop.I’m going to try to be as informative as possible, so if you want to make a purchasing decision for OpenCanvas 7, I’m your girl. …it does come with significant downsides which I will discuss further in my points below. And its Color Jitter ON and OFF versions. As a webcomic artist and illustrator, it’s perfect for me. * One brush for each png, just like photoshop. Leaf 1 Deatails (Color Variation) - Same as "Leaf 1 Details Solid" but with the color jitter on. Leaf 1 (Color Vaiation) - Same as "Leaf 1 (Solid)" but with the color jitter on. Leaf 1 Details (Solid) - Use this one for the light. Leaf 1 (Solid) - Start with this one, you can define the silhouette/area of your bush with this one. Leaf 1, 2, and 3 (Color Variation) - The color jitter enabled versions. Leaf 1, 2 and 3 (Solid) - Each one has a different png as pen nib. And the respective solid and color variation versions for each one. *Instead of adding the 3 png to a single brush, I added 1 brush for every png. The color, saturatin and brightness changes according to the pressure applied to the pen. Leaf 1 (Pen Pressure) - This is a Clip Studio exclusive. Leaf 1 (Details) - This one is for the finishing touch or small details. Leaf 1 (Highlights) - This one is for the light. Leaf 1 (Silhouette) - Start with this one, you can define the silhouette/area of your bush with this one. You can enable or disable the Color Jitter option for a more cartoonish or realistic look. *All the 3 pngs are combine into a single brush, but I added 3 variations for each need + an exclusive version. A pack containing leaf brushes for Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Open Canvas7 and Fire Alpaca!
